Two minutes
Brooks Aurora-BL is a limited edition neutral running shoe that is all about appearance. This is certainly striking, with a single design split, a mass of nitrogen-injected squashy foam, and over translucent light that allows the whole world to see and assess the condition of your socks.
Very comfortable to use too, with generous-sized TOEBOX, and a good and safe grip on the heel. Make sure not to tie the rope too tight, or you risk putting pressure in the middle of your feet where the only split.
What is the most surprising about Aurora-Bl even though it is not the appearance of the age of the room (complete with nitrogen injection ports), but how ordinary it feels run. Thick bearings provide bounce size, but the lack of stiff midsole means it feels more stable and less chewy than many of the same slippery shoes.
As a showcase for what is possible, it must be successful, and we look forward to seeing which elements choose to bring to the mainstream line in the future.
Price and availability
Brooks Aurora-Bl is a limited edition, with only 25,000 pairs released. Released in June 2021, at a price of $ 200 / £ 180 (around AU $ 260) directly from Brooks, and from third-party retailers
Design
Brooks Aurora-bl must definitely be in accordance with everyone’s taste. It was developed by the company’s blue line lab – basically an experimental R & D department, which works on new materials and manufacturing techniques so that they can arrive at your feet faster.
Before the shoes were launched, Techradar spoke with Nikhail Jain, the senior manager at the Brooks Blue Line, which explained that his appearance was inspired by room suit, and would definitely be seen ‘loved it’.
